About Us

Royal Lawns LLC provides a wide variety of lawn care services to the Eastern Shore of Maryland, including fertilization, weed control for lawns & driveways, insect control for grubs, Fleas and Ticks, liming, soil testing services, aerating and slice seeding.

Royal Lawns was established in 1987 by Brian Shufelt after receiving his degree from the University of Maryland and working in the turfgrass industry. We work with all lawn sizes from the smallest to large estates and athletic fields.

It is our goal to create the best lawns possible for our customers by using the most modern products and techniques and constantly improving our services with the most recent advances in lawn care technology.

Brian Shufelt

Brian Shufelt is the founder and owner of Royal Lawns LLC. Born and raised on the Eastern Shore in an agricultural family, he opened Royal Lawns in 1987, after receiving an Agronomy degree from the University of Maryland, and working his way up in the Turfgrass industry. He currently resides in the area with his wife and 2 daughters.

Alex Parham

Alex Parham is also an Eastern Shore native that began with our company part time in 1989. Beginning full time in 1995, he is now the manager of our company with a wide range of knowledge & expertise in our field. As a certified lawn technician, Alex provides evaluations and estimates to potential customers and handles our extensive lawn renovations as well as overseeing all of our treatments. He currently resides in the area with his wife and son.

SAMANTHA SUHRIE

Samantha Suhrie, an eastern shore native, was raised in an agricultural community and has been with our company since 1999. With her background in customer service, business practice and agronomy, she has been our Office Manager since 2000. She currently resides in the area with her husband and 2 sons.

Pat Regan

Pat Regan was born & raised in Baltimore County and moved to the eastern shore in 2001. With extensive experience in the tree & shrub industry as well as lawn care as a certified lawn technician, he handles the treatments of our small communities. He also currently resides on the eastern shore.

Samuel Abey

Sam Abey was born & raised on the eastern shore from a local waterman family. Sam began with us in 2003 having worked in the pest control & agricultural fields. As a certified lawn technician, handles the treatments of our estates and extensive lawns. He also lives in the area with his wife, son and daughter.
